The enhanced Erwin Bot is an AI-powered learning platform developed for the Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT). Building upon the existing SSO-enabled foundation, the solution introduces specialised AI agents, personalised coaching and voice interaction to create a more adaptive and engaging learning experience.
The platform supports students throughout structured learning activities while enabling SIT to collect meaningful feedback and interaction data. These insights help educators and researchers better understand student needs, evaluate learning outcomes and continuously improve academic programmes
Purpose & business goals
The platform was developed to expand Erwin Bot from a conventional chatbot into a scalable university-grade learning solution.
Its primary goal is to provide students with personalised and accessible learning support through topic-based AI agents. Structured activities, guided conversations and voice interaction encourage more meaningful engagement while accommodating different learning preferences.
The platform also supports educational research by incorporating surveys, session analytics and engagement data. This enables SIT to identify learning patterns, assess programme effectiveness and make evidence-based improvements to its teaching strategies and student support initiatives.
